Nominations
The Notice of Election was published on Wednesday, 8th April 2026. Candidates wishing to stand must submit their nominations by 4pm on Thursday, 16th April 2026. The deadline for withdrawal of candidacy is also 4pm on Thursday 16th April 2026.
A list of persons nominated will be published by 4pm on Friday, 17th April 2026.

Voter Registration
The last date for voter registration is Monday, 27th April 2026. If you are not yet registered to vote, you must do so before this date to be eligible to participate in this election.
Postal Votes
The deadline for receipt of postal vote applications is 5pm on Tuesday, 28th April 2026. The first run of postal votes will be dispatched on Tuesday, 28th April 2026, with a second run following on Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
Postal Vote Opening Sessions
Postal votes will be opened in two sessions: the first at 11am on Wednesday, 13th May 2026, and the second at 2pm on Thursday, 14th May 2026 (polling day).
Proxy Votes and Voter Authority Certificates
The deadline for receipt of proxy vote applications is 5pm on Wednesday, 6th May 2026. Emergency proxy vote applications must be received by 5pm on Thursday, 14th May 2026. Voter Authority Certificates must also be obtained by 5pm on Wednesday, 6th May 2026.
Notice of Poll and Poll Agents
The Notice of Poll will be published on Wednesday, 6th May 2026. The deadline for the appointment of Poll and Count Agents is Thursday, 7th May 2026.
Replacement Postal Ballot Papers
Replacement lost postal ballot papers can be issued from Friday, 8th May 2026. The last day to issue replacement spoilt or lost postal ballot papers is 5pm on Thursday, 14th May 2026.
Polling Day – Thursday, 14th May 2026
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, 14th May 2026. All eligible registered voters in the Conygre Ward are encouraged to cast their vote.
Candidate Expenses
Candidates must submit their expense returns by Thursday, 11th June 2026.
