Filton Town Council invites experienced and qualified organisations to tender for the provision of youth services for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028. This is an exciting opportunity to develop, manage, and deliver impactful youth provision in Filton, focusing on children aged 7-12 years.
Key Deliverables:
- Weekly youth work sessions providing high-quality, open-access activities.
- Promotion of youth participation and representation in shaping council policy and services.
- Development of life skills in young people, including communication, social skills, and emotional wellbeing.
- Flexible provision, including outdoor and outreach activities in Filton and surrounding areas.
Funding and Payment:
- Annual funding: £28,000 (adjusted by RPI annually)
- Payment will be made quarterly in advance, subject to satisfactory reporting and outcomes.
Eligibility:
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Proven experience in delivering youth services.
- Ability to provide qualified personnel for youth engagement.
- Evidence of positive outcomes for young people.
- Capacity for partnership working and sound service management.
Evaluation Criteria:
Tenders will be assessed based on experience, value for money, quality of proposal, adaptability, and evidence of local need. References and a track record in similar work are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full event production and management, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Developing a vibrant and inclusive programme of activities, performances, and community events.
- Coordinating infrastructure, security, traffic management, and accessibility measures.
- Managing sponsorship, concessions, and fundraising to sustain and grow the event.
- Ensuring environmental sustainability and waste management practices.
- Liaising with stakeholders, performers, and local organisations.
- Promoting the event regionally and securing positive media coverage.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in event management, including large-scale public events.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, diverse programming and audience experiences.
- Strong financial and resource management skills.
- Expertise in health and safety, crowd management, and site production.
- Commitment to environmental sustainability and accessibility.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
