Getting here
The leisure centre sits on Elm Park in the centre of Filton, and the council offices are inside the building. Whichever way you travel, we recommend checking Google Maps before you set out so you have the most up to date route information.
By train
The nearest station is Filton Abbey Wood, roughly 0.9 km (0.6 miles) from Elm Park, a walk of about 12 to 15 minutes. It makes the centre easy to reach from Bristol, Bath, South Wales and the wider region.

Several local services run through Filton and stop within walking distance. The Elm Park stop on Gloucester Road North is directly next to the site.

Elm Park is easy to reach on local footpaths and cycle routes across Filton.
Cycle parking and bike racks are available on site so you can lock up safely during your visit.
For e-bikes and e-scooters there is a Dott parking spot right outside the leisure centre cafe.
By car
From M5 Junction 16
- Exit the M5 at Junction 16 and follow signs towards Filton via the A38
- Continue towards Filton and follow local signs for Elm Park
From Bristol city centre
- Travel north along Gloucester Road (A38) towards Filton
- Continue through Filton town centre and follow local signs for Elm Park and the leisure centre

Parking
Visitor parking is available at Elm Park, with additional spaces around the back of the leisure centre. Please follow any on-site signage and parking restrictions when you arrive.
Where you can, we encourage visitors to travel by public transport, on foot or by bike.
Accessible parking
Accessible parking spaces are available close to the main entrance for visitors who need them.
The council offices are inside Elm Park Leisure Centre, so the same entrance and parking serve both.
